Can I put an umbrella base underneath?
There is an opening on the table top for an umbrella and you can see the stabilizer circle under the table. Look at the pictures. Your umbrella base should fit under that circle and hold the umbrella just fine.

Any rust issues?
All parts are powder-coated for rust free, we have purchased better quality powder than common spray powder but in winter, you'd better have a patio cover over it.
How much does one chair weigh?
Around 20 lbs, Aluminum material so it is very LIGHT, but very strong and well made.
